What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in is from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and check out is by 10:30 a.m.

Is it possible to arrive outside the scheduled check in times ?
If you are unable to arrive at the scheduled time, please notify us by phone; in front of the front desk you will find an envelope with your name, keys, and directions to your room.
There will also be a phone number to contact for any emergency.

Is there luggage storage service in case of early arrival or late departure?
Should you need to leave your luggage due to early arrival or delayed departure, you can leave it during reception opening hours, with our staff.

What are the opening hours of the reception desk?
The front desk is open from 9:00 am-1:00 pm and 3:00 pm-7:00 pm, if you arrive after hours please notify us.

Is bar service available?
During reception opening hours, our staff will be happy to serve you coffee or cold drinks

Is parking available?
Our farmhouses that make up Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo are located on a hillside facing San Gimignano, in a very quiet location; all facilities have private, unattended outdoor parking.

Is it possible to bring animals with you? What size?
Our Farmhouse is Pet Friendly and 4-legged friends, up to 8 kg in weight, are welcome.
Pets, for an additional fee, are allowed in the accommodations and some of the common areas.

Is babysitting service available?
Guests can take advantage of a baby-sitting service upon request

How many rooms does the farmhouse have?
Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo is a complex of three farmhouses located on a hill facing San Gimignano. In the total of the three facilities, the farmhouse has 30 rooms of different types and 8 apartments. Therefore, we are confident that we can offer you the most suitable accommodation for your needs

Are there any rooms with a view?
The three farmhouses that make up the Poderi Arcangelo farmhouse are surrounded by greenery, and almost every room and apartment has a beautiful view of the Sienese hills

Do the bathrooms have a bathtub or shower?
The bathrooms are equipped with comfortable shower stalls

Are there family rooms or connecting rooms?
Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo has different types of rooms and apartments that are ideal for families who will surely be able to find the ideal accommodation.

Up to what age do children not pay?
Children do not pay up to one year if they sleep with their parents; upon request, for an extra charge, guests will be provided with a crib.

Are cribs available for children?
Cribs are available at Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo, which can be requested at reception for a small fee.

Do you have rooms set up for disabled travelers?
Some of the rooms at Poderi Arcangelo are on the ground floor and therefore suitable for travelers with disabilities, but being located at the top of a hill, movement and access to some facilities can be difficult.
The recently renovated farmhouses are not equipped with elevators because we decided to respect the architectural features of the late 19th century structures during renovation

Do you have smoking rooms?
Smoking is not allowed in the rooms.

Are the rooms equipped with air conditioning?
All rooms in our farmhouses are air-conditioned

Is it possible to tune into international TV channels?
All rooms are equipped with Lcd televisions, and in addition to Italian-language channels, there is one channel in English, one in French, and one in German.

What are the opening hours of the restaurant and what kind of catering is done?
The Restaurant is open for dinner every day from March 01 to November 02. From November to February it is open only during bridges and holidays.
At 8 p.m., guests can enjoy typical Tuscan cuisine, with a set menu consisting of four courses prepared by the skilled hands of Ms. Maria.

Is it possible to have lunch at the Poderi?
The restaurant is open only for dinner, but upon request for guests staying at the pool we can arrange light lunch.

Are tastings planned?
Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo is also a Farm we are producers of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Organic Wine; on Saturday afternoons we offer our guests a free tasting of our products.
On other days, private tastings with winery visit can be booked, to be arranged in advance, to which we can also add a walking tour of our vineyards, subject to availability.

Are themed dinners or food and wine events planned? Are the dinners also open for those not staying at the Farmhouse?
Mrs. Maria is the queen of the kitchen is makes, by reservation, customized or themed lunches and dinners, with special menus for special occasions or for groups of friends who enjoy sharing the pleasures of good food.
Under the ancient vaults of Casa Capezzano’s hall or on the beautiful panoramic outdoor terrace, or among the estate’s vineyards, genuine Tuscan dishes are served that will make your experience unique and unforgettable.

Breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

How many swimming pools does Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo have?
Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo consists of three farmhouses located on the same hill, 500 mt from each other.
Each farmhouse is equipped with its own panoramic swimming pool surrounded by greenery.
Casa Capezzano, a late 19th-century farmhouse features an 8 x 16-meter infinity pool with a depth ranging from 90 to 230 cm.
Casa San Raffaello and Casa Arcangelo, are recently renovated farmhouses each with its own pool, 500 mt from Casa Capezzano, the main farmhouse

What are the characteristics of Azienda Agricola Poderi Arcangelo?
Azienda Agricola Poderi Arcangelo, founded in 1970, is located in the beautiful hills around San Gimignano, right in the heart of Chianti.
The Mora family has been producing wine and extra virgin olive oil for 3 generations and currently has 25 hectares of native and organically grown vines. The main production concerns Vernaccia San Gimignano DOCG ,Trebbiano, Malvasia , Chardonnay and Sangiovese, Colorino, Ciliegiolo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. We are listed in major wine guides and our most prestigious wines, such as Supertuscan Granbaccano IGT and Vernaccia San Gimignano Riserva DOCG , have received international awards.

What farming techniques are used on the farm?
Our philosophy is that a good farmer leaves the land better than he found it, and for this reason we have chosen organic management of the entire farm since the year 2000.

Is it possible to buy organic products from the Poderi Arcangelo Farm?

Are tastings planned?

What is the nearest highway exit to the Agriturismo?
The nearest A1 highway exit, coming from the north, is Impruneta about 50km away, while for those coming from the south the reference exit is Valdichiana about 95km away.

How can I get to your Agriturismo?
For those coming from the north, the nearest A1 highway exit is Impruneta. Once you leave the highway, take the Florence-Siena freeway, exit at Poggibonsi Nord and follow for Empoli-Certaldo (SS 429). Once in Certaldo continue to San Gimignano, for about 3 km, until you come across our signs “Capezzano – Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo” , turn left and climb to the highest point of the hill.

For those reaching us from the south, the reference junction is Valdichiana. Once you leave the Autostrada del Sole, take the Siena-Bettolle freeway to Siena where, without exiting the freeway, continue in the direction of Florence. Exit at Poggibonsi north.
