What features does the Poderi Arcangelo farmhouse have?<\/strong>
\nAgriturismo Poderi Arcangelo is a complex of three farmhouses<\/strong> located on a hill facing San Gimignano, nestled in 25 hectares of native vineyards and olive groves, which make up the Poderi Arcangelo <\/strong>Farm<\/strong> producing Organic Wine and Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
\nAgriturismo Poderi Arcangelo is an<\/strong> eco-sustainable<\/strong> and self-sufficient<\/strong> farm for the production of electricity as it is equipped with a 50 KW photovoltaic system.In the recent renovation, a phyto-purification system was built to dispose of the farm’s wastewater.<\/p>\n

The main structure, Casa Capezzano<\/strong>, is an old farmhouse from the late 1800s located at the top of the hill, where you can find the reception, the restaurant and 19 rooms, 5 of which are in the Bio House<\/strong>, the old barn that<\/strong> has been completely renovated according to the standards of Green Building<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Going down the hill you will come across Casa San Raffaello<\/strong>, a farmhouse surrounded by greenery, with a large swimming pool overlooking the towers of San Gimignano. Casa San Raffaello is divided into eight apartments sleeping 2 to 6 people each, ideal for families, with plenty of outdoor space for children.<\/p>\n

Casa Arcangelo<\/strong> is located on Capezzano road, you will meet it on your left as you go up the hill to the Manor House. The farmhouse, a former convent from the late 17th century, is ideal for hosting groups of 18-25 people , friends or several families who wish to have exclusive use of the entire house and the beautiful garden with swimming pool.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n<\/div>\n\n\r\n

\nCheck in is from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and check out is by 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

Is it possible to arrive outside the scheduled check in times ?<\/strong>
\nIf you are unable to arrive at the scheduled time, please notify us by phone; in front of the front desk you will find an envelope with your name, keys, and directions to your room.
\nThere will also be a phone number to contact for any emergency.<\/p>\n

Is there luggage storage service in case of early arrival or late departure?
\n<\/strong>Should you need to leave your luggage due to early arrival or delayed departure, you can leave it during reception opening hours, with our staff.<\/p>\n

What are the opening hours of the reception desk?<\/strong>
\nThe front desk is open from 9:00 am-1:00 pm and 3:00 pm-7:00 pm, if you arrive after hours please notify us.<\/p>\n

Is bar service available?
\n<\/strong>During reception opening hours, our staff will be happy to serve you coffee or cold drinks<\/p>\n

Is parking available?
\n<\/strong>Our farmhouses that make up Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo are located on a hillside facing San Gimignano, in a very quiet location; all facilities have private, unattended outdoor parking.<\/p>\n

Is it possible to bring animals with you? What size?
\n<\/strong>Our Farmhouse is Pet Friendly and 4-legged friends, up to 8 kg in weight, are welcome in our annex building Arcangelo House.
\nPets, for an additional fee, are allowed in the accommodations and some of the common areas.<\/p>\n

Is babysitting service available?
\n<\/strong>Guests can take advantage of a baby-sitting service upon request<\/p>\n

It is possible to rent Vespas and bicycles
\n<\/strong>Upon request, we can make use of an external bicycle, mountain bike, and e bike and Vespa rental service<\/p>\n

\nUnlimited WI-FI access and dedicated parking for each property; during the opening months, March to October, a rich breakfast buffet, sweet and savory with typical products, is included; access to the swimming pool of the farmhouse where you are staying;

In the total of the three facilities, the farmhouse has 30 rooms of different types and 8 apartments. Therefore, we are confident that we can offer you the most suitable accommodation for your needs<\/p>\n

Are there any rooms with a view?
\n<\/strong>The three farmhouses that make up the Poderi Arcangelo farmhouse are surrounded by greenery, and almost every room and apartment has a beautiful view of the Sienese hills<\/p>\n

Do the bathrooms have a bathtub or shower?
\n<\/strong>The bathrooms are equipped with comfortable shower stalls<\/p>\n

Are there family rooms or connecting rooms?
\n<\/strong>Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo has different types of rooms and apartments that are ideal for families who will surely be able to find the ideal accommodation.<\/p>\n

Up to what age do children not pay?<\/strong>
\nChildren do not pay up to one year if they sleep with their parents; upon request, for an extra charge, guests will be provided with a crib.<\/p>\n

Are cribs available for children?
\n<\/strong>Cribs are available at Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo, which can be requested at reception for a small fee.<\/p>\n

Do you have rooms set up for disabled travelers?
\n<\/strong>Some of the rooms at Poderi Arcangelo are on the ground floor and therefore suitable for travelers with disabilities, but being located at the top of a hill, movement and access to some facilities can be difficult.
\nThe recently renovated farmhouses are not equipped with elevators because we decided to respect the architectural features of the late 19th century structures during renovation<\/p>\n

Do you have smoking rooms?
\n<\/strong>Smoking is not allowed in the rooms.<\/p>\n

Are the rooms equipped with air conditioning?
\n<\/strong>All rooms in our farmhouses are air-conditioned<\/p>\n

Is it possible to tune into international TV channels?

What are the opening hours of the restaurant and what kind of catering is done?<\/strong>
\nThe Restaurant is open for dinner every day from March 01 to November 02. From November to February it is open only during bridges and holidays.
\nAt 8 p.m., guests can enjoy typical Tuscan cuisine, with a set menu consisting of four courses prepared by the skilled hands of Ms. Maria.<\/p>\n

Is it possible to have lunch at the Poderi?
\n<\/strong>The restaurant is open only for dinner, but upon request for guests staying at the pool we can arrange light lunch.<\/p>\n

Are tastings planned?<\/strong>
\nAgriturismo Poderi Arcangelo is also a Farm we are producers of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Organic Wine; on Saturday afternoons we offer our guests a free tasting of our products.
\nOn other days, private tastings with winery visit can be booked, to be arranged in advance, to which we can also add a walking tour of our vineyards, subject to availability.<\/p>\n

Are themed dinners or food and wine events planned? Are the dinners also open for those not staying at the Farmhouse?

How many swimming pools does Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo have?
\n<\/strong>Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo consists of three farmhouses <\/strong>located on the same hill, 500 mt from each other.
\nEach farmhouse is equipped with its own panoramic swimming pool surrounded by greenery<\/strong>.
\nCasa Capezzano<\/strong>, a late 19th-century farmhouse features an 8 x 16-meter infinity pool with a depth ranging from 90 to 230 cm.
\nCasa San Raffaello<\/strong> and Casa Arcangelo<\/strong>, are recently renovated farmhouses each with its own pool, 500 mt from Casa Capezzano<\/strong>, the main farmhouse<\/p>\n

The swimming pools are seasonal and are generally scheduled to open around April 25th; however, in case of unfavorable weather conditions, the opening date may be subject to change.<\/p>\n

What are the characteristics of Azienda Agricola Poderi Arcangelo?
\n<\/strong>Azienda Agricola Poderi Arcangelo, founded in 1970<\/strong>, is located in the beautiful hills around San Gimignano, right in the heart of Chianti.
\nThe Mora family has been producing wine and extra virgin olive oil for 3 generations and currently has 25 hectares of native and organically grown vines. The main production concerns Vernaccia San Gimignano DOCG ,Trebbiano, Malvasia , Chardonnay and Sangiovese, Colorino, Ciliegiolo, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. We are listed in major wine guides and our most prestigious wines, such as Supertuscan Granbaccano IGT and Vernaccia San Gimignano Riserva DOCG , have received international awards.<\/p>\n

What<\/strong> farming<\/strong> techniques<\/strong> are<\/strong> used<\/strong> on the farm?
\n<\/strong>Our philosophy is that a good farmer leaves the land better than he found it, and for this reason we have chosen organic management of the entire farm since the year 2000.
\nThe technology we use in the winery is a great help to our still traditional winemaking practices<\/p>\n

Is it possible to buy organic products from the Poderi Arcangelo Farm?
\n<\/strong>At the room located next to the reception, it is possible to buy the products of our production<\/strong> such as Chianti wine, Vernaccia, different types of IGT also passed in barrique, as well as organic extra virgin olive oil, as well as grappa, spirits and vinsanto.
\nYou will also be able to buy typical products from our area<\/strong>, strictly from organic farming, such as jams and honey, as well as the entire Idea Toscana organic<\/strong> olive oil-based cosmetics line<\/strong>.

Are tastings planned?<\/strong>
\nOn Saturday afternoon we offer our guests a free tasting of our products. The tasting is also an opportunity to learn about the history of our family understand how the wine and olive oil we have been producing for 45 years are born.
